Build-for-Rent homes comprise just 5 percent of the home building marketplace, per National Association of Homebuilders, leaving this already undersupplied segment further underserved for the foreseeable future. This shortage of single-family rentals continues to plague the housing market, while maintaining rental rates at record levels.
